Blockchain for Wall Street

Landmark financial markets blockchain and crypto gatherings delivered in collaboration with Lighthouse Partners and WSBA in New York City in 2016 and 2017. Massing PR provided CMO-as-a-Service support, covering brand identity, digital engagement, signage, and public relations.

Held at New York Law School and supported by the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance, these events set the high bar standard for financial markets blockchain and crypto gatherings during the early years of Wall Street’s interest in these emerging technologies. Some 250 attended the debut event in 2016, while the following year there was standing room only as nearly 300 filled the conference and exhibit space.

The education program for each showcased interest from traditional financial institutions that were exploring blockchain technology (including Credit Suisse, State Street and DTCC), established IT vendors (such as IBM, Microsoft, and Capgemini) and startups (notably ConsenSys, Alphapoint and BlockApps).

Also presenting were experts in legal and regulatory affairs, as well as academia and investors (including ARK Invest, Polsinelli, Cornell Tech). This combination of skills and backgrounds offered a comprehensive range of experiences and opinions that scored high marks for their authority and depth.

Notable speakers that have since become well known blockchain and digital assets leaders included Catlin Long (Custodia Bank), Cathie Wood (ARK Invest), Ari Juels (Chainlink), Richard Johnson (Texture Capital), and Chris Burniske (Placeholder).

“Today I went to a blockchain conference where just about everyone knew what they were talking about,” said renowned technology lawyer Preston J. Byrne.

The events also attracted leading blockchain and crypto sponsors, including AlphaPoint, ConsenSys, Hyperledger, OTCXN, Polsinelli, and Synechron.

Massing PR's support spanned brand identity creation, event program and speaker presentation design, signage, digital engagement, and public relations.
