ABOUT JEN

Jennifer (Jen) Massing Harris is an accomplished marketing strategist and public relations specialist with nearly three decades of experience building brands for emerging technology and B2B clients. As the founder of Massing PR, she and her team leverage their CMO-level insight to craft customized, publicity-driven programs that elevate purpose and establish market leadership.

Her career before Massing PR provided a strong foundation for her specialization.

 

Jen Massing Harris began her agency career by gaining comprehensive, ground-up experience at full-service agency Spring O'Brien. Starting at the reception desk, she spent a year assisting multiple departments—from media to production—before earning a promotion to Account Manager in 1995. In this role, she immediately focused on the financial services technology sector, building specialized expertise that would inform her work for the next three decades. This holistic view of agency operations and early Fintech focus remains foundational to the efficient, integrated methodology she leads at Massing PR today.

 

She then served as Global Vice President of PR and Marketing at TheBEAST.COM from 1998 to 2001, where she managed brand and marketing strategy for the first financial and risk analytics cloud provider, leading marketing efforts that supported multiple funding rounds. Her in-house experience at TheBEAST.COM exposed her to the inefficiencies of traditional agencies and directly inspired her to create Massing PR's unique "agency alternative" model. 

 

Before starting her own company, Massing Harris opened and served as the Vice President of the New York City operation for the London-based agency Write Image, Ltd. (now Metia) from 2001 to 2002. This entrepreneurial experience, managing an agency office, was a direct precursor to her decision to launch Massing PR.

Jen and her virtual team work with innovators across high-growth sectors, including AI, fintech, cybersecurity, big data/analytics, blockchain, decentralization technologies, and digital health. She excels at helping companies refine their market positioning, launch new products, forge strategic partnerships, and secure capital investment. Her approach is rooted in providing authentic, third-party validation that moves beyond market buzz to build enduring trust.

In 2017, Jen Co-Founded Chain Business Insights, LLC, a boutique research/advisory firm focused on supply chain logistics and finance applications for blockchain and related technologies where she is responsible for marketing strategy and day-to-day operations. 

Jen is also the Co-Founder and CMO of the DecentraTech Collective, an open community with a common focus on accelerating the understanding, development and adoption of decentralization technologies, including blockchain and Web 3.0 approaches, and with a focus on Decentralized AI and DePIN innovators..

 

Beyond her corporate work, Massing Harris has also applied her skills to community-based projects. She was the President of the Parque Zaragoza Neighborhood Association (PZNA) and a co-founder of the Amigos de Parque Zaragoza community group in East Austin, TX.
