The DecentraTech Collective is a global, virtual-first community that is an evolution of the award-winning Austin Blockchain Collective (ABC), founded in 2018.

The ABC Legacy: The Austin Blockchain Collective became a community of more than 120 corporate members, establishing key partnerships with institutions like the City of Austin, UT Austin, and Dell Medical School. It focused on promoting Austin as a hub for blockchain innovation, tackling issues from enterprise solutions to civic initiatives like creating secure digital identities for those experiencing homelessness.

The Evolution: Led by Pete Harris (Lighthouse Partners) and Jen Massing Harris (Massing PR), the Collective spun out during the pandemic to expand its focus beyond just blockchain to encompass the broader set of Decentralization Technologies (DecentraTech), offering global outreach.
